Dr. Streicher is currently a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University’s medical school, The Feinberg School of Medicine. She is the founder and medical director of the Northwestern Medicine Center for Menopause and the Northwestern Medicine Center for Sexual Health.
Dr. Streicher is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, she completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. Her clinical interests include all aspects of women’s health but Dr. Streicher has a particular interest and expertise in menopause and sexual health.
Dr. Streicher is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, Inc., The International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, and The Scientific Network on Female Sexual Health and Cancer. She is also a Certified Menopause Practitioner of The North American Menopause Society.
She is also the author of multiple books including “Sex Rx: Hormones Health and Your Best Sex Ever,” a #1 Best Seller on Amazon.com in sexual health, and “The Essential Guide to Hysterectomy.”
